An Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Oregon Health and Sciences University, Gina served as Executive Director of the Association of Oregon Community Mental Health Programs for 11 years before taking the helm of EXCELLENCE as President and CEO. She has worked extensively in mental health and addictions policy, leadership and management, health care financing and political advocacy. As a Community Mental Health Therapist, Adolescent Program Director and Clinical Supervisor, she brings experience in all aspects of community mental health. Gina's public service includes two terms as a Tillamook County Commissioner and Vice-President of the Association of Oregon Counties. She has a BA in Theatre and Dance and an MS in counseling from Portland State University and a PhD in Special Education focusing on social public policy and leadership from the University of Oregon.

Yana Jacobs began her journey in the mental health field as an art therapy student at UC Santa Cruz, writing her own major in “Art Therapy”. A field study/internship at Soteria House evolved into a full time job there. Thirty years later, after working in clinical services and program administration for the county mental health system, Yana brings her skills and experiences to the EXCELLENCE team where she helps our donors realize their philanthropic vision through donor-advised and incubator funds and provides assistance and oversight to our grantees. Jacobs holds a Master's degree in psychology and counseling from UC San Francisco.

Jessica Pratt is responsible for website design and management, marketing and media development, and coordination of information technology for EXCELLENCE programs. She held a similar position at the Association of Oregon Community Mental Health Programs for five years. Prior to that, she served as legislative staff at the Oregon State Capitol and then at the Office for Oregon Health Policy & Research. She found her passion for improving standards for mental health care during her tenure as front-line staff at a community psychiatric crisis agency. Pratt is a graduate of Willamette University.

Missi DeWitt has worked with the small business and nonprofit community for nearly a decade. A Portland native, Missi graduated with an accounting degree from Portland State University and went on to earn her MBA at Willamette University.
During her last three years working for The Oregon Community Foundation, Missi developed a deep understanding of how community foundations function at a detailed level. While at OCF, Missi specialized in articulating complex financial information with donors and staff, provided regular statements for over 1600 funds, engaged in detailed financial analysis, and improved their stock donation process.
Missi has just launched her new venture, Kindred Business Services. Her goal is to combine her love of people and financials to serve Portland-area small businesses and nonprofits through accounting and consulting services. CLOSE
Tessa Anderson-Ramos discovered her love of film editing when she was twelve years old and began creating short movies that combined her interests in both film and psychology, Read more
an area that she is still very interested in today. She will be graduating this June from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and plans to attend graduate school in London in the upcoming future to work on her Master's in Counseling.
